A consummate musician, Nate Winn discovered his passion for the drums in church, at the age of 4, and has performed with numerous artists and educators around the world. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, music has always been a central component of Nate's life. As a teenager, he took his musicianship to another level by earning a spot in the acclaimed Detroit Civic Jazz Orchestra, directed by the legendary Detroit jazz trumpeter Marcus Belgrave. Nate's style is influenced by Jazz, Blues and his Gospel upbringing, along with some of his favorite drummers: Brian Blade, Kendrick Scott, and Calvin Rodgers.
