An outstanding and powerful jazz trio pianist Tad Weed, bassist Kurt Krahnke and drummer Sean Dobbins. A modern jazz trio from three of Michigan's finest jazz musicians.

Pianist Tad Weed migrated from Michigan to California in 1978. While living in L.A., Tad played in the bands of Woody Herman, Carmen McCrea and Charles Lloyd. Since returning to Michigan in 2000, Tad has, of course, become "the go-to pianist" on the Detroit/Ann Arbor scene.

Sean Dobbins got his start as sought-after Detroit area jazz sideman at a young age, when he would regularly play with Blue Note artist Louis Smith. As Sean's Career progressed, he found himself the recipient of many awards and accolades including the "Woody Herman Jazz Award", an award for outstanding musicianship, as well as the Louis Armstrong Scholarship.

Acoustic Bassist Kurt Krahnke  a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, but also studied at the New England Conservatory of Music. He toured the east coast with Ron Levy for two years and then returned to Detroit, where he taught with the Summer Music Program under the direction of Wendell Harrison.
